Artifort Designed for Serviceability

An animation created for Artifort, a Dutch furniture company with a rich design heritage. The project highlights the Vega Chair, designed by Jasper Morrison, whose timeless and functional approach perfectly aligns with Artifort’s philosophy of durable design.

The animation communicates Vega’s core concept: “Designed for Serviceability”, by showcasing how each component of the chair can be easily replaced or reassembled. The visual narrative moves from subtle close-ups of textures and materials to a full reveal of the chair, culminating in an elegant exploded view that emphasizes craftsmanship, modularity, and longevity.

The goal was to create a piece that feels both refined and technical, balancing aesthetic sophistication with clear storytelling. Every shot was carefully animated to highlight the precision of the design, complemented by minimalist typography and lighting inspired by Artifort’s signature visual language.

In addition to the main animation, a set of still frames was developed for social media, website, and exhibition materials, ensuring cohesive visual communication across platforms.
